That under any given set of circumstance, people are doing the best they can, given the stresses and strains of the moment.
We only have choice when we have awareness.
Awareness happens at any of three different levels: within the self; between individuals; and among individuals in a system.
Change involves growth and learning: everyone can learn.
Continual improvement happens through: identification of hoped for outcomes; awareness; setting priorities; creating shared visions; setting priorities; making responsible decisions; and using self-evaluation to create accountability that aligns with ones' values and beliefs.
Personal responsibility is essential to the development of social integrity, which is created by the sum of the integrity of all individuals involved within any system.
We believe we are all walking wounded; acknowledging, addressing, and doing what we can to heal our wounds creates strength.
